Dr. Al Hammadi highlighted the importance of the ‘Plant the Emirates’ initiative, which promotes agriculture and strengthens partnerships between the public and private sectors to enhance food security. He emphasized the initiative’s role in supporting the UAE's long-term vision for sustainable agricultural development.

Ahmed Khalil, Portfolio Director of AgraME, expressed excitement about the event’s alignment with the UAE’s Vision 2030 and the 'Plant the Emirates' initiative. He emphasized the importance of addressing key challenges like extreme heat, water scarcity, and desertification, which impact the region’s food security. The event showcases innovative solutions aimed at improving soil health, water conservation, and biodiversity, contributing to agricultural resilience and climate change mitigation.

AgraME 2024 also marks the debut of the Regenerative Agriculture Middle East Conference, which features industry leaders discussing regenerative agriculture’s critical role in restoring ecosystems. Topics such as soil restoration, water-efficient farming, and carbon sequestration are key focus areas in tackling the Middle East’s environmental challenges.

The 2025 edition is set to expand, covering further innovations in aquaculture, fisheries, and water management.
