Aquaventure World, a Guinness World Records™ title holder for the most waterslides in a waterpark, delivered an unforgettable weekend during the Guinness World Records™ Tour Challenge.
The Aquaventure team successfully set a new Guinness World Records™ title for the Most nationalities on a water slide in one hour, with 90 nationalities participating. By bringing together colleagues from around the globe, the achievement symbolizes the team’s unity and collaboration, where employees from 130 countries work together to create a vibrant community.
The weekend also showcased Emirati athlete Manea Al Marzooqi who set a new Guinness World Records™ title for the Most backflips on a flyboard in one minute, completing an incredible 41 backflips and smashing the previous record of 30 backflips. Known for his passion for the sea, Manea is a celebrated athlete who earned top rankings in the DIMC U.A.E. National Championships in 2016 and 2017, solidifying his reputation as a standout in extreme water sports.
In addition, as part of the weekend activities, guests of all ages could attempt breaking six Guinness World Records™ titles, including challenges such as using water pistols to topple targets, racing through inflatable rubber rings, and beach paddle ball competitions. Eight participants earned Guinness World Records™ certificates, creating lasting memories and making history alongside the Aquaventure team.
The record-breaking weekend highlighted Aquaventure World’s role as a destination for adventure and entertainment. Dubai’s most iconic waterpark spans 22.5 hectares and features over 105 slides, attractions, and experiences. Thrill-seekers can set their pulses racing with Odyssey of Terror, the world’s tallest waterslide with a Double TornadoWAVE®; Shockwave, the longest family rafting water coaster in the world; Medusa's Lair, the first dueling PIPElineBLAST® Water Coaster slide in the region; and Immortal Falls, the region’s first cliff-jumping experience.

2022: Most Waterslides in a Waterpark – Aquaventure World set the record with 50 waterslides, surpassing the previous record of 41.
2021: World’s Largest Drinking Glass Pyramid – In collaboration with Moët & Chandon, Atlantis, The Palm built a pyramid of 54,740 glasses at WHITE Beach during the Effervescence event series.
2021: KISS 2020 Goodbye Concert – Legendary rock band KISS broke two records at Atlantis, The Palm:
- Highest flame projection in a music concert, with flames reaching over 35 meters.
- Most flame projections launched simultaneously in a music concert, featuring 66 flame heads, creating a spectacular pyrotechnic display against the Dubai skyline.
