The Arab Network for Creativity and Innovation (ANCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SEE Institute in The Sustainable City – Dubai. This strategic partnership aims to foster creativity and innovation, aligning with the future goals of both organisations.
The collaboration focuses on supporting creators and innovators in the Arab world through awareness initiatives, specialised seminars, and joint scientific research. These efforts aim to foster creativity and innovation across various fields.
The visit included a comprehensive tour of SEE Institute, a hub for sustainability education, training, and research. The institute is renowned for being the region’s first net zero emissions building, projected to achieve this status by 2030. The delegation also explored The Sustainable City – Dubai’s facilities, which exemplify social, environmental, and economic sustainability strategies. These include clean energy usage, food production, water and waste recycling, and the promotion of clean and electric transport.
Key highlights of the tour included residential areas, the urban farm, the plaza, Sanad Village, the Equestrian Center, and the green mosque. The Sustainable City serves as a living laboratory to test and support the latest solutions in sustainability, contributing to the vision of a net zero emissions future.
