The Endowments and Minors’ Trust Foundation in Dubai (Awqaf Dubai) has completed four new endowment real estate projects worth over AED 23 million in the first half of 2025, reinforcing its role in supporting community development and charitable causes.
The projects include the first endowment for government employees, with proceeds directed to general charitable initiatives, and the Al Warqa Shops Endowment, dedicated to mosque affairs. A residential villas endowment was also launched in partnership with the Dubai Charity Association, with revenues funding humanitarian, educational, and healthcare initiatives, while an additional villa endowment will channel its proceeds toward charitable purposes.
His Excellency Ali Al Mutawa, Secretary General of Awqaf Dubai, said the projects reflect the foundation’s commitment to developing assets that benefit vital sectors of society, in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to strengthen sustainable development and community wellbeing.
Al Mutawa emphasised that Awqaf Dubai is focused on preserving donor assets and ensuring optimal investment returns while advancing philanthropic investments. He added that new projects, including shopping centres, residential complexes, and multi-purpose buildings, are scheduled for completion later this year and next, with proceeds dedicated to healthcare, education, mosques, and social services.
