Dubai CommerCity, a joint venture between DIEZ and Wasl Properties, has officially inaugurated the new regional hub of Bayut and dubizzle, marking a major step in the growth of the UAE’s digital commerce and Proptech sectors.
The inauguration was led by Abdulrahman Shahin, Senior Vice President of Property Management and Supply Chain at Dubai CommerCity, and Haider Khan, CEO of Bayut and dubizzle and CEO of Dubizzle Group MENA. The event was attended by representatives from the Dubai Land Department, Dubai Police, and senior officials from both entities.
Occupying 45,000 square feet across two floors, the new hub is built to house more than 400 employees, offering a collaborative, innovation-driven workspace. This strategic expansion underscores Bayut and dubizzle’s leadership in real estate and online classifieds, while reinforcing their commitment to digital excellence in the UAE.
“The opening of Bayut and dubizzle’s new hub is a milestone that reflects Dubai CommerCity’s mission to foster innovation in digital commerce,”
said Shahin.
“Our infrastructure and ecosystem provide the ideal foundation for companies like Bayut and dubizzle to lead in the Proptech space.”
Haider Khan echoed the sentiment, adding,
“Establishing our new hub here, alongside our Dubai Design District headquarters, positions us at the heart of Dubai’s digital transformation. CommerCity’s location and infrastructure empower us to scale operations and accelerate innovation.”
As the region’s first free zone dedicated solely to digital commerce, Dubai CommerCity continues to attract forward-thinking enterprises, setting the stage for a new era of tech-driven growth in the UAE.
