The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is distributing ice cream cones at select Metro stations on July 10 and 11. Flavors include chocolate, cookies and cream, butterscotch, cotton candy, and vanilla.
Head to Mashreq and Ibn Battuta Metro Stations from 11 am to 1 pm on July 10, or Equiti and Onpassive Metro Stations on July 11 for your free treat.
This initiative comes as the country faces record-breaking heat, with temperatures hitting 50.8 degrees Celsius. Free ice cream trucks run by volunteers are also providing popsicles and cold drinks to workers and delivery riders across the city.
