Bedayat and Hamdan Innovation Incubator Launch Emirati Tech Founder Programme

Bedayat, the innovative business incubator situated in The Sustainable City, has teamed up with the Hamdan Innovation Incubator (Hi2) to launch the Emirati Tech Founder Programme.

This new initiative, supported by the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Dubai SME), aims to empower Emirati tech entrepreneurs to develop sustainable solutions addressing pressing social, environmental, and economic challenges.

The programme was inaugurated at the SEE Institute, the region’s first net-zero emissions building, emphasizing its commitment to sustainability and innovation. It provides a dynamic platform for Emirati entrepreneurs, offering essential tools, insights, and support to transform innovative ideas into successful businesses.

Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of Dubai SME, highlighted the programme's significance in diversifying Dubai's economy.

“By nurturing Emirati tech entrepreneurs, we are building the next generation of leaders who will drive technological advancement in alignment with our city’s sustainable development goals,”

he stated. The partnership with Bedayat aims to offer critical mentorship and resources that align with the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33.

Faris Saeed, Founder and Chairman of the SEE Institute, added,

“The future of sustainability lies in innovation and collaboration. By integrating technology with sustainable practices, we are shaping smart, resilient cities for tomorrow.”

The eight-week programme will guide participants through essential phases, providing specialized workshops, mentorship, and access to collaborative spaces. Bedayat, certified by Dubai SME, is dedicated to sustainable startups, fostering an ecosystem where entrepreneurs can test their solutions within The Sustainable City’s living lab, nurturing the growth of impactful business ideas.
