Brand Dubai Concludes Successful Hatta Winter Initiative, Attracting Record Crowds

Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has celebrated the resounding success of the Hatta Winter initiative, which captivated visitors from across the UAE and beyond.

Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the initiative highlighted the region’s stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage during the cooler months.

Launched as part of the #DubaiDestinations campaign and overseen by the Supreme Committee to Oversee the Development of Hatta, the month-long event featured five major festivals, including the Hatta Winter Festival, Hatta Cultural Nights, Hatta Honey Festival, Hatta Farming Festival, and Hatta x DSF. These festivals, organized in collaboration with key government and private sector partners, drew over 870,000 visitors, offering a diverse range of cultural, entertainment, and community activities.

Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, praised the initiative’s success, noting its role in strengthening Dubai’s tourism profile and highlighting Hatta as a must-visit winter destination.

“The remarkable turnout reflects the growing interest in Hatta, and we are committed to expanding this initiative in the future,”

she said.

The initiative's digital presence further amplified its success, with over 60 million video views across social media and 2.4 million engagements under the #HattaWinter hashtag. Over 22,500 posts and 1,700 news reports across various platforms further showcased the event's broad appeal.

With its diverse offerings and strong community engagement, the Hatta Winter initiative reinforced Hatta’s place as a premier winter destination, contributing to the region’s economic growth and sustainable development.
