CBI cooperates with IESE Business School to support professional development of Emirati talent
Commercial Bank International (CBI or “the Bank”), a corporate and retail bank headquartered in Dubai, have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) with IESE Business School in Spain.
IESE is one of the world’s leading business schools and its executive education programs are frequently ranked as number one worldwide. The MOC signing reflects CBI’s staunch commitment to supporting the professional development of its Emirati talent.
Ali Sultan Rakkad Al Amri, Chief Executive Officer of CBI; Ahmed Jassim, Head of Human Resources and Giovanni Everduin, Head of Strategy and Innovation, made the journey from the UAE to IESE’s campus in Barcelona to meet with IESE Dean, Prof. Frank Heukamp and his supporting team for the official signing.
Commenting on the signing and the encouraging position CBI has adopted in regard to professional development, Ali Sultan Rakkad Al Amri said
“We’re delighted to sign this MOC with IESE. We always strive to support the professional development of our CBI Family and the MOC is testament to this. It also reinforces our commitment to developing Emirati talent in line with our Emiratisation initiatives. We’re proud to be able to partner with IESE and offer our employees the opportunity to further develop their skills with the support of a globally leading institution and the stellar programs they provide. We look forward to a fruitful partnership working together to develop our future leaders.”
Prof. Frank Heukamp, IESE Dean commented
“Business leaders play a crucial role as they lead teams and make strategic decisions that not only improve their companies, but also have a positive impact on society. At IESE, we take pride in our responsibility to accompany those leaders along their journeys of professional and personal growth. I thank CBI for their confidence in us and look forward to an exciting collaboration with them as we help shape executives who'll make a purposeful mark on the United Arab Emirates.”
IESE is renowned for its trailblazing approach to leadership development. By signing this international MOC, CBI officially acknowledges IESE’s ability to provide CBI employees with quality training. By aligning with an institution that offers essential training related to business, management and leadership, CBI hopes to further empower its employees and support the development of key competencies that can help accelerate their journey towards leadership.
Prior to the official MOC signing, CBI has worked with IESE in supporting the Bank’s senior Emirati talents to successfully graduate from IESE’s Programme for Management Development (PMD).
CBI believes this signing is another positive step forward in what has already been a successful partnership and looks forward to empowering the next generation of CBI leaders.
