The Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) and Dubai Courts have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance electronic service integration for the execution of judgments, orders, and decisions.
The MoU, signed by CBUAE Governor Khaled Mohamed Balama and Dubai Courts Director-General Prof. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, is part of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme aimed at improving service efficiency and quality as part of the UAE's digital strategy.
The partnership will establish electronic connectivity mechanisms to expedite the execution of judicial orders within the jurisdiction of the Central Bank. This integration is expected to enhance collaboration, streamline processes, and support the country's digital transformation initiatives.
Balama emphasised the CBUAE's commitment to the leadership's vision of promoting digital transformation and providing world-class services that meet global standards. He highlighted that this initiative would boost the UAE's global competitiveness and support sustainable growth.
Al Suwaidi noted that the MoU marks a significant step in enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and speed in executing judicial decisions. It aligns with the UAE's goal of becoming the world's smartest and happiest city, as envisioned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. He added that the initiative would further Dubai Courts' mission to ensure swift and precise justice, deliver exceptional judicial services, and uphold the values of justice, independence, and transparency.
