The Community Development Authority has launched Hatta Unites Us at Al Wadi Park, introducing a festival that celebrates home-based entrepreneurs while highlighting the cultural identity of one of Dubai’s fastest growing destinations.

The new initiative marks CDA’s first appearance at the annual Hatta Winter campaign and aims to strengthen the role of local families in the area’s economic and social development.

Now in its second edition, Hatta Winter has become a fixture on Dubai’s seasonal calendar, drawing residents and tourists seeking authentic outdoor and cultural experiences. This year’s programming deepens the focus on Hatta’s heritage and natural landscape, offering visitors a closer look at the region’s evolving identity.

Hatta Unites Us features 35 homegrown entrepreneurs showcasing products ranging from traditional foods and confectionery to textiles, perfumes and artisanal goods. The platform underscores Hatta’s long running culture of family enterprise and gives participants broader access to the market.

Visitors can explore several new experiences, including a visual archive titled Hatta Memories, hands-on craft workshops, a heritage kitchen and a cultural stage featuring performances and community conversations.

The festival also introduces dedicated spaces for senior citizens and People of Determination, created in collaboration with the Sheikha Maitha Bint Rashid Al Maktoum Centre. The initiative reinforces Dubai’s wider commitment to inclusive community development.

CDA’s Director of Benefits and Financial Empowerment, Ali Al Qassim, said the festival supports home-based entrepreneurs in expanding their prospects and moving toward viable business opportunities within the local market. He noted that CDA is enhancing a comprehensive support framework focused on market access, skills development and long-term resilience.

CDA is inviting the public to visit Hatta Unites Us and explore a programme that brings together heritage, creativity and community spirit in one of Dubai’s distinctive winter destinations.
