The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has made the service to submit Corporate Tax registration requests available through 23 Government Service Centres located across the UAE.

The UAE's Federal Tax Authority (FTA) announced a new initiative allowing taxpayers to register for corporate tax via Government Service Centres and the "EmaraTax" digital platform, available 24/7. Taxpayers can seek assistance from accredited tax agents listed on the FTA's website, promoting tax compliance. Trained staff at these centres ensure quality service, assisting with registration procedures. After data verification, applicants receive their Tax Registration Number (TRN) via email. The FTA signed cooperation agreements with government centres to provide this service, aiming to enhance tax registration and compliance rates through efficient and accessible channels.

Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director-General of the Federal Tax Authority, emphasized the importance of adhering to the specified timeframes for Corporate Tax registration applications, highlighting the deadline of May 31, 2024, for those with licenses issued in January and February. Al Bustani underscored the FTA's efforts to expand service channels, including Government Service Centres, to accommodate the increasing demand since the implementation of Corporate Tax.

Zahra Al Dahmani, Director of Taxpayer Services, highlighted collaborative efforts with strategic partners to ensure seamless service provision at accredited government centres, meeting high standards and customer expectations.

The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) reiterated that Corporate Tax registration is available 24/7 via the EmaraTax digital platform, with a streamlined four-step process taking approximately 30 minutes. Taxpayers registered for VAT or Excise Tax can access their accounts on EmaraTax, select the taxpayer from the list, complete the Corporate Tax registration request, and submit required documents. For those not registered, a new user profile is required, accessible on the FTA’s e-Services portal. Once created, users can proceed with Corporate Tax registration by identifying the taxpayer and following simple steps.
