Creators HQ has launched a AED5 million Social Content Fund aimed at supporting content creators who produce family and society focused digital content, marking a significant step in strengthening the UAE’s creator economy.
The fund was announced during the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, held in Dubai and organised by the UAE Government Media Office. The three day event took place across Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future under the theme Content for Good, drawing more than 15,000 creators and over 580 speakers with a combined following of 3.5 billion.
The Social Content Fund is a strategic partnership between Creators HQ, the region’s first dedicated creators hub, and Alfan, a regional creator monetisation platform. The initiative is designed to empower creators developing content that promotes family cohesion, positive social values, and constructive dialogue around key societal issues.
Beyond financial support, selected creators will receive access to advanced production facilities, professional training, monetisation tools, and brand collaboration opportunities. The programme also provides support for creators relocating to the UAE, reinforcing the country’s position as a global hub for digital creativity.
Saeed Al Eter, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Projects and Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office, said the fund reflects the summit’s vision of building an integrated creative ecosystem that enables creators to produce meaningful and impactful content.
Mohamad Fattal, Founder and CEO of Alfan, said the partnership aims to help creators transform their ideas into sustainable projects that generate long term social impact while building viable creative businesses from the UAE.
