Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd has secured long-term lease agreements with AJet and Turkish Airlines for 10 new Boeing 737-8 aircraft, scheduled for delivery in 2026 and 2027.
The move reinforces DAE’s role as a leading global aircraft lessor and supports expanding airline fleets.
Firoz Tarapore, Chief Executive Officer of DAE, said the agreements reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to providing advanced, fuel-efficient aircraft. He noted that Türkiye’s aviation market is rapidly growing, with flight movements rising 5.7 percent in the first half of 2025, according to the country’s Ministry of Transport.
DAE currently manages a fleet of 236 Boeing aircraft, including 119 737 MAX family jets, and continues to expand its portfolio to meet evolving airline demands. The new aircraft will support AJet’s growing fleet requirements and Turkish Airlines’ long-term operational strategy.
The agreements underline DAE’s focus on fostering strong partnerships with established carriers while contributing to the modernization of global fleets with newer, more efficient aircraft models. Deliveries over the next two years are expected to enhance operational capacity and support sustainability objectives in airline operations.
This latest development further cements DAE’s position in the competitive aircraft leasing market and highlights its strategic approach to fleet expansion and customer collaboration.
