Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has entered into a purchase and leaseback agreement with United Airlines for 10 new Boeing 737-9 aircraft, scheduled for delivery between August 2025 and February 2026.
The deal further strengthens DAE’s footprint in the North American market and builds on its existing relationship with United.
The Boeing 737-9, part of the 737 MAX family, is known for its fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and advanced performance features, including LEAP-1B engines and aerodynamic winglets. These aircraft are designed to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions by 20% compared to older models.
Firoz Tarapore, CEO of DAE, expressed enthusiasm for the ongoing partnership with United, stating that the agreement reflects DAE’s continued commitment to fleet expansion and market growth in North America.
DAE currently owns, manages, or is committed to a fleet of 750 aircraft, with 225 from Boeing, and plans to further scale operations to meet rising demand from global airline partners.
