Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ), a key member of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), has announced a strategic collaboration with Red Bull Basement 2024.
This partnership is designed to elevate UAE innovators on the global stage by empowering the next generation of talent through AI-driven technology.
Participants in Red Bull Basement 2024 will have the opportunity to develop and launch innovative business ideas, with DAFZ offering direct support. The winning teams will be granted membership in DAFZ's "Scality" startup programme, which helps emerging entrepreneurs establish and grow their businesses. Additionally, the first-place team will join DIEZ’s "SANDBOX" accelerator and may receive venture capital funding through Oraseya Capital, DIEZ's investment arm.

said Arif Al Khouri, Senior VP of Customer Care at DAFZ.
The competition culminates in the World Final, held in Tokyo in December, where UAE national winners will compete against teams from 40 countries. Applications are open until October 25, 2024.
