Dell Technologies and Tahaluf Al Emarat Technical Solutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop AI-powered solutions that help the UAE’s public sector improve urban services and public safety.
The collaboration will combine Dell’s AI and edge computing capabilities with Tahaluf’s in-vehicle technology platform, supporting onboard processing and operational data workflows.
Bringing AI closer to where information is captured gives organisations faster visibility into issues across large urban areas and allows more timely action. The solution is designed to speed up the identification of road and infrastructure problems, parking violations and public safety events, while reducing reliance on continuous cloud connectivity.
Walid Yehia, Managing Director for South Gulf at Dell Technologies, said AI is creating new opportunities for cities to become more responsive to the people they serve, and that the work with Tahaluf brings intelligent capabilities into everyday urban environments.
Dr. Ahmed Musabbeh Al Kaabi, Chief Executive Officer of Tahaluf, said combining AI with existing fleet vehicles gives service providers greater visibility across their communities and helps them respond effectively to infrastructure, parking and public safety needs. He described the move as an important step toward smarter, safer and more efficient urban experiences across the UAE.
