Dell Technologies has revealed new Latitude business laptops with enhanced security and productivity features. This week, the company unveiled its new Latitude 9420 laptop with a built-in speakerphone and camera enhancements including automatic light correction and background blur for video conferencing.
Meanwhile, the Latitude 7520 now boasts a 15 inch screen and 4K UHD display - plus an optional FHD camera for video calls - as Dell reacts to the needs of businesses both at home and in the office.

SVP of Dell Technologies' Client Product Group Ed Ward commented:

"People’s expectations of their technology continue to evolve. It’s why we push beyond barriers to create devices that offer better experiences and are more integrated into our lives. Our new intelligent PCs make it possible for us to work smarter and collaborate easier, so we can give our best selves in all that we do. Secure, sustainable and smart: that’s the way forward for PCs.”

In terms of making PCs more secure, Dell is working hard with supply chain security and integrity control extending their built-in safeguards which are designed to prevent, detect and respond to malicious attacks.
Furthermore, Latitude 9420 and 9520 include the SafeShutter feature, which is an industry-first automatic webcam shutter, which is in sync with the user's video conferencing software.

The Latitude 9420 - with prices starting at $1,949 (£1,434) - drops in the spring, with the larger 7520 model launching on January 12 starting at $1,649 (£1,213).
Meanwhile, pricing for the Latitude 9520 hasn't been revealed just yet.
