The UAE continues to cement its status as a global leader in artificial intelligence and digital innovation, according to Samer Al Jayyusi, Specialty AI & GenAI Regional Lead for Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Dell Technologies.

During GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai, Al Jayyusi highlighted that the nation’s forward-looking vision has created an integrated digital ecosystem that enhances its global competitiveness. He praised the UAE’s strong governance framework in AI development, calling it a model for other countries aiming to build sustainable and ethical technology landscapes.

Al Jayyusi noted that Dell Technologies was among the first global firms to support the UAE’s digital transformation journey. The company has played a key role in developing the country’s digital infrastructure, including data centres and server systems.

Dell currently holds more than 24% of the UAE’s data centre server market, a figure Al Jayyusi said reflects the trust that national entities place in the company’s solutions.

He added that the data centre and server market across the Middle East and North Africa is experiencing growth exceeding 30%, with the UAE serving as a central hub for this expansion. The country’s continued investment in emerging technologies and rapid adoption of generative AI applications are driving this momentum, reinforcing its position at the forefront of global digital progress.
