Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will host the 27th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) from 30 September to 2 October 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
WETEX highlights the UAE’s leadership in clean energy and sustainability while supporting Dubai’s vision of a green economy. The event will cover water, energy, smart cities, green mobility, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, said WETEX “reflects the UAE's unwavering commitment to sustainability and strengthens Dubai's position as a leading global green economy hub,” adding that the exhibition fosters knowledge sharing, partnerships, and investment in green technologies.
The event provides a platform for government and private sector organisations to explore innovations, enhance cross-sector collaboration, and support global climate adaptation efforts. It also offers strategic opportunities for international companies to enter new markets and secure investment deals.
WETEX has grown rapidly since its inception. The 2024 edition hosted 50,598 visitors, more than 2,800 exhibitors from 65 countries, and 21 international pavilions. WETEX 2025 aims to expand this reach, promote cross-border dialogue, and facilitate partnerships that drive tangible sustainability outcomes.
