Dubai Electricity and Water Authority has launched the CleanTech Alliance, a new initiative designed to spotlight cutting-edge clean energy solutions and strengthen collaboration among innovators working toward net zero goals in the UAE and beyond.
Introduced by DEWA’s Sustainability and Innovation Centre, the alliance offers local and international companies a platform to showcase advancements in sustainability, clean technology, and renewable energy. It also aims to connect members with investors, industry leaders, and global innovators to accelerate the energy transition.
HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA, said the initiative supports the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050. He noted that the Sustainability and Innovation Centre plays a key role as a global incubator for clean energy innovation by fostering partnerships, encouraging emerging technologies, and creating new growth opportunities.
The centre attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year, including investors, entrepreneurs, start-ups, universities, and research institutions from around the world. Its growing international profile has positioned it as a hub for knowledge exchange and practical expertise in renewable and clean energy solutions.
Members of the CleanTech Alliance gain access to the centre’s flagship initiatives and exclusive opportunities to present their technologies and projects. The programme also provides a structured environment for collaboration, helping participants scale their solutions while contributing to long-term sustainable growth across the clean energy sector.
Through the CleanTech Alliance, DEWA is reinforcing Dubai’s ambition to remain at the forefront of sustainability and innovation on a global stage.
