Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has signed a strategic partnership with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), a leading global organization specializing in electric power research and development.
The agreement aims to enhance collaboration in training and the application of cutting-edge technologies in renewable energy, grid modernization, energy storage, and more.
Under this partnership, EPRI will provide a range of training programs for DEWA employees, focusing on areas such as smart grids, energy efficiency, distribution asset management, cybersecurity, and renewable energy systems. These initiatives align with DEWA’s vision to contribute to Dubai’s ambition of becoming a global hub for clean energy and sustainable innovation.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, emphasized the importance of the partnership in supporting Dubai’s Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the authority’s mission to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
