Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is taking center stage as a strategic partner at Dubai AI Week 2025, underlining its commitment to advancing Dubai’s vision of becoming a global hub for artificial intelligence.

Held from 21 to 25 April under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the week-long event is organized by the Dubai Future Foundation and the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence. It brings together global leaders, tech giants, and policymakers to drive AI adoption across critical sectors.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, participated in the AI Retreat at the Museum of the Future, where discussions focused on digital infrastructure, governance, economic growth, and talent development in AI.

As part of its participation, DEWA is showcasing its AI strategy, which includes a roadmap to become the world’s first AI-native utility by integrating AI across electricity and water production, transmission, and distribution. DEWA's initiatives, such as Rammas—its AI-powered virtual assistant—highlight its efforts to boost operational efficiency and enhance customer experience.

At Area 2071, DEWA is also highlighting partnerships through Moro Hub to promote smart, sustainable solutions. Meanwhile, DEWA Academy is contributing to the AI Week in Schools initiative, introducing students and educators to AI skills and fostering future-ready talent.

Al Tayer reaffirmed DEWA’s alignment with Dubai’s broader AI ambitions, noting the authority’s top global ranking in 12 key performance indicators and its ongoing commitment to building a robust digital infrastructure in line with the UAE Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031.
