Dubai Electricity and Water Authority will host the 28th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition from October 20 to 22, 2026, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for sustainability, innovation and clean energy solutions.
Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, the event will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre and bring together leading stakeholders from across the energy, water and environmental sectors.
WETEX is recognised as one of the world’s largest specialised exhibitions in its field and the largest of its kind in the region. The exhibition spans a wide range of focus areas including renewable energy, water technologies, green development, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, decarbonisation, green mobility, green hydrogen and sustainable cities.
The scale and global reach of the event were highlighted during the 27th edition, which attracted more than 3,100 exhibitors and over 50,000 visitors from around the world. The exhibition covered 95,000 square metres and featured 18 international pavilions, reflecting strong international participation.
In addition, the previous edition was supported by 68 sponsors and 18 supporting organisations and associations. DEWA, alongside its partners, organised 114 specialised seminars that drew experts and industry leaders from major local and international companies.
The upcoming edition is expected to build on this momentum, providing a key platform for knowledge exchange, partnership building and showcasing innovations that support global sustainability and clean energy goals.
