Following the success of the inaugural MENA IPO Summit last year, Dubai Financial Market (DFM) is set to return with a bigger and more promising edition of its flagship event “The Capital Market Summit”, the region’s only IPO-focused event.
The Capital Market Summit, scheduled for May 1st and 2nd, 2024, at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, aims to catalyze collaboration, innovation, and dialogue within the city's IPO and capital market ecosystem. Following the success of last year's event, the 2024 edition will drive interest in IPOs, discussions on capital raising, and attract regional and international players.
With live sessions, attendees will gain insights, connect with business leaders, and explore growth opportunities. Platinum sponsors include Bank of America, Citibank, and Emirates NBD, reinforcing the summit's status as a premier event for industry leaders, investors, and stakeholders, with prestigious gold and silver sponsors also participating.
Hamed Ali, CEO of DFM and Nasdaq Dubai, highlighted the Capital Market Summit's role in Dubai's evolution into a global financial center, noting over 1 trillion dirhams attracted since 2021. The summit will gather industry leaders, IPOs, and experts to support economic sectors and growth.
Arshad Ghafur, President MENA, Bank of America, emphasized their commitment to Dubai's financial transformation and sustainable growth.
Maria Ivanova, Citi Country Officer, UAE, expressed pride in sponsoring the summit and supporting capital market discourse.
