The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR), in partnership with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has launched the ‘FutureSkills4All’ initiative.
This initiative, developed in collaboration with the educational platform Coursera, aims to enhance the skills of Dubai Government employees and other professionals by providing access to world-class training programs offered by industry leaders like Google, Meta, and IBM.
His Excellency Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR, emphasized the importance of this collaboration in empowering human resources with advanced skills and supporting Dubai’s vision for sustainable development and innovation.
His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, highlighted the initiative's role in preparing government employees to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing labour market.
Dr. Hany Torky of UNDP underscored the initiative's objective of providing accessible education and training to advance professional careers.
‘FutureSkills4All’ offers a wide range of courses, including personal development, essential digital skills, job readiness, and technical skills in AI, machine learning, data science, finance, and more. The initiative is designed to support recent graduates, job seekers, and seasoned professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
This partnership between DGHR, MBRF, and UNDP is a key step towards enhancing Dubai's status as a global knowledge hub, equipping the workforce with the necessary skills to thrive in a dynamic global economy.
