Projects align with DGHR's agenda to upgrade HR and empower government cadres. Held at Al Ittihad Museum, the meeting aimed to familiarize attendees with departmental initiatives.
H.E. Iman Bin Khatam, DGHR's Director of Policy and Programme Support, emphasizes cooperation with Dubai stakeholders to enhance human resource capabilities. They aim to integrate global best practices, innovate, and support the Emirati workforce to meet future needs, boost productivity, and reinforce Dubai's global economic position.
Additionally, the department’s team discussed the dynamic role of the project for Measuring Workforce Productivity in the Government of Dubai in offering concise and accurate data and indicators in the field of workforce productivity across government entities that provide key services. The team further underscored that the framework seeks to evaluate performance to improve the efficiency of the government sector through optimal use of human resources in the government, ensuring the attainment of objectives of ‘We the UAE 2031’ and sustainable development goals.
The meeting reviewed projects like 'Dubai Government Jobs Engineering', focusing on human resource practices, and 'Empowering Human Resources Departments', providing resources and training. It emphasized the 'General Framework for Government Human Resources Training' for a competitive workforce and discussed 'Review of Human Resources Law' for modernization. Projects aim to enhance employee experience and support Dubai's economic goals.
The key goal of these projects is to ensure Dubai’s capabilities and preparedness to encounter unanticipated future challenges and reinforce the emirate’s position as a global talent hub, which offers an ideal and integrated work environment for government employees.
