Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Academy has entered a significant partnership with Lloyd's, the world-renowned insurance market, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This collaboration aims to enhance talent development and education for risk professionals across the fast-growing Middle East region.
The agreement builds on the longstanding relationship between DIFC Academy and Lloyd’s, furthering the reach of the Lloyd’s Academy, an education platform for insurance and risk management professionals originally developed in London. Together, the two entities will organise events, educational bootcamps, and on-demand learning to address the industry's need for skilled professionals.
Alya AlZarouni, Chief Operating Officer of DIFC Authority, highlighted the importance of this initiative, stating,
“DIFC offers a world-class learning environment and guidance from renowned organisations to accelerate the development of talent within the sector. Together with Lloyd’s, we aim to shape the future of finance and foster industry growth.”
Dawn Miller, Lloyd’s Chief Commercial Officer and CEO of Lloyd’s Americas, echoed this sentiment, adding,
“This MoU represents a significant step forward in driving talent development and industry-wide education. We look forward to supporting the Middle East’s growing demand for insurance professionals.”
