The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has joined the 1 Billion Followers Summit as a Gold Partner, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global hub for creative content and innovation.

The fourth edition of the Summit will take place from 9th to 11th January 2026 across Jumeirah Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future under the theme “Content for Good.”

Organised by the UAE Government Media Office, the Summit is the world’s largest event dedicated to content creators, attracting global talent, tech leaders, and innovators. The partnership with DIFC underscores the UAE’s commitment to fostering a knowledge- and creativity-based economy and providing a platform for emerging creators to make a global impact.

Arif Amiri, CEO of DIFC Authority, highlighted that the collaboration bridges finance, innovation, and creativity, supporting initiatives that empower entrepreneurs and content creators, key drivers of the new economy. He added that the Summit strengthens Dubai’s position as a hub for future industries and technological innovation.

Alia AlHammadi, Vice Chairperson of the UAE Government Media Office, said the partnership enhances the Summit’s ecosystem, offering creators access to tools, technologies, and networks to amplify their work and impact communities positively. She emphasized that the UAE’s infrastructure and regulatory environment make it an ideal incubator for digital content talent.

DIFC continues to grow as the region’s leading financial hub, hosting over 8,000 companies and 48,000 professionals, including more than 1,000 regulated entities. Its ecosystem attracts global institutions and top-tier talent, driving Dubai’s economic future.

The previous edition of the Summit in 2025 drew over 15,000 creators, 420 speakers, and 125 global experts, generating 1.5 billion digital interactions and 542 million social media views. The partnership signals a strategic push to strengthen the UAE’s creative economy and its global influence in media, technology, and content creation.
