Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has introduced the Dubai Financial Experts Program, a strategic initiative aimed at nurturing Emirati leaders to drive innovation in financial institutions locally and globally.
The programme is being delivered in collaboration with the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD).
H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and President of DIFC, emphasized that the programme aligns with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to empower Emirati talents and equip them with world-class expertise.
The initiative supports the Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s goal of strengthening the UAE’s position as a global economic hub. Mohammad Al Gergawi, Chairman of The Executive Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of MBRCLD, highlighted that the programme fosters leaders capable of driving transformative projects and managing key economic sectors.
Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC, noted that the programme enhances national talent with cutting-edge financial and leadership skills, aligning with DIFC’s 2030 strategy to lead the future of finance. The programme is open to UAE nationals aged 25 to 35 with five to ten years of professional experience, particularly in the financial sector, and a strong leadership background.
Structured as a six-part initiative, the programme includes leadership and innovation courses developed in collaboration with the University of Oxford and Silicon Valley partners. Participants will receive advanced training, mentorship, and hands-on experience through job shadowing opportunities at leading financial institutions.
A capstone project, exclusive sessions with financial leaders, and a graduation ceremony at the Mohammed bin Rashid Leaders Forum 2025 will mark the culmination of the programme. This initiative reinforces Dubai’s commitment to fostering Emirati excellence in the financial sector.
