The Dubai International Financial Centre has partnered with the Institute of International Finance to launch the inaugural Dubai Future Finance Week in May 2026, solidifying Dubai’s position as a global hub for financial innovation and collaboration.
The announcement was made during the IIF Annual Member’s Meeting in Washington, D.C., attended by Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC; Timothy Adams, President and CEO of IIF; and Arif Amiri, CEO of the DIFC Authority. The partnership highlights a shared vision to shape the future of global finance through strategic dialogue and innovation.
Essa Kazim said the collaboration reflects DIFC and IIF’s commitment to influencing the global financial landscape through thought leadership and cooperation, positioning Dubai as a catalyst for forward-looking financial services.
Under the partnership, the IIF will serve as the strategic knowledge partner for Dubai Future Finance Week, contributing global insights, high-level research, and executive roundtables on regulatory clarity, emerging trends, and international opportunities.
Timothy Adams described the initiative as an opportunity to deepen ties with DIFC and support inclusive, sustainable growth across international markets.
Hosted by DIFC, Dubai Future Finance Week will gather over 40,000 global leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators to discuss emerging trends shaping the financial sector. The week’s flagship event, the Dubai FinTech Summit, will focus on AI, digital assets, sustainable finance, and other key areas driving the evolution of global finance.
