Digital Dubai, the government entity spearheading the emirate's digital transformation, has announced the development of the Dubai Data and Artificial Intelligence Platform, designed to meet the highest international standards.
The contract for this ambitious project has been awarded to Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, with work set to commence by the end of September 2024.
This unified platform will serve as a comprehensive gateway to official data and statistics, enabling seamless data hosting and sharing among government and private entities while ensuring top-tier accessibility and security. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence, the platform will facilitate innovative data analysis, empowering the government to make informed decisions and enhancing overall digital maturity.
The agreement was formalized at Digital Dubai's headquarters, with key figures in attendance, including His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA, and His Excellency Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of Digital Dubai. Al Tayer emphasized the project's alignment with the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, which aims to double the emirate's economy in the next decade.
"The Dubai Data and AI Platform is a pivotal step in advancing Dubai's digital infrastructure, enhancing our capabilities in utilizing digital data and Artificial Intelligence for innovation and sustainable development,"
said Al Tayer.
The platform will integrate existing data systems, such as Dubai Pulse, into a decentralized framework supported by cutting-edge technologies, including machine learning and real-time analytics. This initiative not only aims to improve decision-making processes but also positions Dubai as a global leader in digital solutions, furthering its vision as a digital capital.
