Digital Dubai has launched the Digital Balance Programme, a new initiative aimed at promoting responsible and positive technology use across the community.

The programme, introduced in collaboration with the Community Development Authority, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, and the Dubai Health Authority, was announced during GITEX Global 2025.

The initiative is designed to help individuals develop healthier digital habits while addressing behavioural, social, and health challenges linked to excessive technology use. It focuses on empowering residents to use digital tools in ways that enhance wellbeing and overall quality of life.

Through the programme, the participating entities aim to raise awareness of digital balance principles, create supportive environments for responsible technology use, and align with the Dubai D33 Agenda’s broader goals of promoting healthier lifestyles and reducing chronic and mental health risks.

Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of Digital Dubai, said the initiative reflects a shared government vision to serve humanity by ensuring technological progress goes hand in hand with social wellbeing. He added that the programme also supports the Year of Community by fostering social cohesion and enhancing quality of life across the emirate.
