In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Digital Dubai has launched an AI-powered virtual ‘Emirati Family’ to raise awareness about the city’s digital services through engaging, culturally rooted storytelling.
The digital family serves as an interactive interface designed to reflect Emirati values while simplifying communication around digital services for diverse community members.
The initiative debuted with the introduction of the first character, ‘The Girl’, who appeared in a social media video wearing modern Emirati attire and inviting the public to vote on her name. More virtual family members, including a father, mother, and brother, will soon be introduced.
The project aligns with Dubai’s broader vision for a people-centric, AI-driven future where digital transformation supports quality of life and well-being. By using animated characters to explain digital services in a fun and accessible way, Digital Dubai aims to make innovation more relatable for families, youth, and multilingual audiences.
