DMCC has appointed the National Engineering Bureau (NEB) as the official design and supervision consultant for Crypto Tower, the world’s first commercial building dedicated to Web3 and digital assets.
The tower, developed in partnership with REIT Development, will be located in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), reinforcing the city’s ambition to lead the global digital economy.
The appointment marks a major step in bringing the landmark project to life, as DMCC continues to expand its ecosystem for blockchain, crypto, and digital asset companies. With over 700 crypto firms already operating within DMCC’s Crypto Centre and more than 3,400 tech enterprises overall, Crypto Tower will serve as a central hub for innovation and collaboration.
NEB, a consultancy with over four decades of experience in architectural design and engineering, will oversee all aspects of the project’s planning, design, and on-site supervision. The firm’s expertise in delivering complex developments across Dubai ensures that the tower will meet the highest standards of sustainability and execution.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, described the appointment as a defining milestone in realising the vision for a dedicated Web3 business hub. He said the project will further transform Uptown Dubai and JLT into dynamic centres for digital enterprise.
Crypto Tower will provide purpose-built office spaces designed for the specific needs of blockchain and digital asset firms, positioning Dubai as a global leader in the digital economy and smart infrastructure.
