DMCC Concludes 12th Dubai Precious Metals Conference
DMCC, Dubai’s leading international business district, successfully concluded the 12th edition of the Dubai Precious Metals Conference (DPMC), attracting over 800 global leaders and stakeholders.
Held in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Economy, the event focused on the theme “The Future of Precious Metals: Modernising Trade in a Multipolar Market.”
Key discussions highlighted the role of BRICS nations, including the UAE, in reshaping global trade dynamics and the emergence of a “gold corridor” across Asia. The conference emphasized leveraging technologies like AI and blockchain to enhance traceability, provenance, and responsible sourcing in the sector.
His Excellency Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, underscored the nation’s position as a trusted global hub for precious metals trade, citing advanced infrastructure, forward-thinking regulations, and traceability practices.
“The UAE is poised for a transformative era shaped by sustainability and innovation,”
he remarked.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, DMCC’s Executive Chairman and CEO, noted Dubai’s pivotal role in the evolving landscape, stating,
“This year’s conference reaffirms Dubai’s status as a leading hub for precious metals trade, bringing together leaders to address pressing industry challenges.”
Notable contributions included a keynote by international author Jordan Belfort, who shared insights on professional success and entrepreneurship. Panels explored geopolitical risks, supply chain challenges, and the rise of a potential BRICS Gold Exchange.
