Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has recorded a 14% increase in Turkish companies joining its business district over the past year, bringing total membership from Türkiye to more than 700 firms.

The announcement came during DMCC’s Made For Trade Live roadshow in Istanbul, part of its global campaign to attract investment to Dubai.

The growth reflects the deepening economic ties between the UAE and Türkiye, bolstered by the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) that took effect in 2023. According to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Trade, non-oil trade between the two nations reached USD 44 billion between September 2024 and August 2025, a 12% year-on-year increase that exceeded the five-year CEPA target ahead of schedule.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC, said Turkish firms are drawn to DMCC’s ecosystems that align with Türkiye’s strengths in sectors such as energy, shipping, precious metals, coffee, tea, and honey. He added that DMCC continues to expand its platforms to help Turkish businesses trade, process, and access finance more efficiently through Dubai.

The Istanbul edition of Made For Trade Live gathered over 370 Turkish business leaders from key industries including energy, construction, logistics, agri-food, and technology to explore opportunities in Dubai.

Türkiye’s position as the UAE’s fastest-growing trading partner is further supported by major logistics investments, such as DP World’s USD 650 million Yarımca terminal and its merger with Evyap Group. With Turkish firms now representing nearly one fifth of all Turkish businesses registered in Dubai, the UAE-Türkiye partnership continues to strengthen, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global gateway for trade and investment.
