The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) aims to attract over 2000 new companies in 2025, building on Dubai’s steady rise as a global business and trade hub, according to Dr. Hamad Buamim, Chairman of the Board of DMCC.

Buamim highlighted that the centre’s growth aligns with Dubai’s broader economic momentum. He noted that company registrations at DMCC have exceeded 26,000, underscoring international confidence in the emirate’s business environment.

Buamim said DMCC is on track to end 2024 with more than 2000 new companies, following a strong first half that saw over 1000 firms join the free zone. The trend, he added, reflects Dubai’s resilience and attractiveness to global investors seeking access to emerging and established markets.

He emphasized that Dubai continues to solidify its position as a key gateway for trade and investment flows across Africa, the Middle East, India, and China.

Buamim also reaffirmed DMCC’s strategic role within Dubai’s integrated economic ecosystem, contributing to the UAE’s vision of being a global centre for business, innovation, and sustainable growth.
