dnata, the global air and travel services provider, has achieved a major milestone by handling over 1 million tonnes of cargo in Dubai between April 2024 and March 2025—the highest annual volume in its history.
This 30% year-on-year growth reflects strong demand for dnata’s reliable services across Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC) airports. The company currently supports more than 120 airline partners, managing a diverse range of cargo including perishables, pharmaceuticals, live animals, and even aircraft engines.
Guillaume Crozier, dnata’s Chief Cargo Officer, highlighted the significance of the achievement:
“This milestone reflects the strength of our operations and the vital role dnata plays in enabling the smooth and efficient flow of goods through the emirate.”
He credited the accomplishment to dnata’s workforce, as well as close cooperation with Dubai Airports, Customs, and Police.
“We’ll continue investing in our operations to support Dubai’s growth as a global hub for commerce and innovation,”
he added.
dnata has made major strides in digitization and sustainability. Its OneCargo system, a cloud-based platform, streamlines operations, improves real-time tracking, and eliminates manual processes. The integration of autonomous drones has also reduced processing times and enhanced accuracy in shipment tracking.
On the environmental front, dnata has converted its non-electric ground support equipment fleet in Dubai to run on biodiesel and continues to repurpose cargo materials to support circularity.
Globally, dnata handled 2.9 million tonnes of cargo across 90 airports in 16 countries during the 2023–24 financial year, marking a 5% year-on-year increase.
This record performance further cements dnata’s position as a key enabler of efficient, tech-driven cargo logistics in Dubai and beyond.
