dnata has been named Ground Support Services Provider of the Year at the 2024 Aviation Business Middle East Awards, marking its 14th win and fifth consecutive recognition in this category.
The award was accepted by Jaffar Dawood, Divisional Senior Vice President (DSVP) for UAE Airport Operations, who credited the accolade to the company’s dedication to service excellence and innovation.

Dawood stated, emphasizing dnata's role in supporting Dubai’s status as a global aviation hub.
Over the past year, dnata has made significant advancements in technology and sustainability. These include integrating autonomous drones in UAE operations, deploying AI-powered solutions in Singapore, and expanding its One Cargo management system globally. Construction of dnata Cargo City Amsterdam, one of the world's largest cargo facilities, is also underway.
On the sustainability front, dnata reduced its carbon intensity by over 8% in 2023-24, transitioning its non-electric fleet in Dubai airports to biodiesel and increasing investments in renewable energy.
In Dubai, dnata employs 28,000 staff and handled over 91.8 million passengers in 2024, a 5% year-over-year increase. Its airport hospitality brand, marhaba, has enhanced the journeys of 2.9 million travelers and expanded services to 175 airlines, welcoming eight new carriers this year.
These achievements reflect dnata’s continuous efforts to set benchmarks in ground handling and aviation services.
