DP World has entered the next phase of building its new global headquarters at Expo City Dubai, marking a significant milestone in the company’s vision to redefine the future of trade, innovation, and sustainable design.

A ceremony celebrating the completion of the building’s foundations was held on site, attended by Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and CEO of Expo City Dubai Authority, alongside His Excellency Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World. The event highlighted the collaboration between DP World and Expo City Dubai in driving Dubai’s global ambition.

Set for completion in 2027, the eight-storey landmark will anchor Expo City as a centre for connectivity and collaboration. Designed with a striking 10.45-metre cantilever — among the boldest in the region — the headquarters will appear to float above the landscape, symbolising DP World’s innovative spirit.

Spanning 301,940 square feet, the facility will house 850 employees and welcome up to 2,000 visitors daily. The first two floors will be open to the public, featuring cafes, restaurants, and meeting spaces designed to encourage interaction. The Flow Pavilion and fountain from Expo 2020 Dubai will be preserved as a permanent centrepiece, continuing to reflect DP World’s mission to make trade flow.

The project will also introduce the Middle East’s largest fully automated parking facility of its kind, accommodating nearly 1,000 vehicles, including 100 electric cars — underscoring its commitment to sustainability and smart urban infrastructure.

Both organisations hailed the development as a testament to Dubai’s role as a global hub for progress, innovation, and collaboration.
