The DP World Tour has revealed that the UAE will headline its 2025 season, hosting five international golf tournaments, including three prestigious Rolex Series events and two key final qualifiers.
This marks the second consecutive year that the UAE has secured a prime position on the tour's calendar, following the success of the revamped competition format.
During a session at Jumeirah Estates Golf Club, Akram Skaik, Director General of the Emirates Golf Federation, Nawaf Abdulla, Executive Vice President for Container Terminals at DP World, and Renaid Halasa, Head of Commercial Partnership Sales at DP World, discussed the tour’s upcoming season and the UAE’s critical role in it.
The 2025 calendar will kick off with three notable tournaments in the UAE's International Series. The Team Cup match will be held at Abu Dhabi Golf Resort from January 10-12, followed by the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, a Rolex Series event, at Emirates Golf Club from January 16-19. The series will conclude in January with the Ras Al Khaimah Championship at Al Hamra Course from January 23-26.
Later in the season, two elite Rolex Series events will return to the UAE as final qualifiers. The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship will take place at Yas Links from November 6-9, and the DP World Tour Championship will close the season at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai from November 13-16.
The 2025 season promises an action-packed lineup, featuring 42 Race to Dubai tournaments across 26 countries, organized into three phases: ‘Global Swings,’ the ‘Back 9,’ and the ‘DP World Tour Play-Offs’ in November.
