Dubai is set to host its most grandiose celebration yet as the city gears up for the 30th anniversary of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), running from 6 December 2024 to 12 January 2025.
Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the milestone edition promises an extraordinary series of citywide experiences, including Dubai’s first-ever indoor drone show.
At a special press preview held at the Theatre of Digital Arts (TODA), attendees were treated to a glimpse of the innovative, technology-driven performances that will define this year’s festival. The highlight of the event was the indoor drone show, featuring 50 drones performing a breathtaking aerial display, offering a sneak peek of the twice-daily outdoor drone shows set to light up the city skies throughout the festival.
Additional previews included the inaugural DSF Auto Season, set for 1–12 January 2025, and an exclusive light installation by Alsayegh, representing the interactive Dubai Lights installations. Skincare brand Drunk Elephant added to the immersive atmosphere with an interactive activation that delighted all attendees.
To enhance the festival experience, DFRE introduced the new DSF Map, a digital guide helping visitors navigate the festival’s many iconic events, from concerts and shopping deals to world-class dining and nightly fireworks displays.
With key sponsors such as Visa and Dubai Islamic Bank, alongside strategic partners like Emirates Airline and talabat, the 30th edition of DSF promises to be a vibrant celebration, showcasing Dubai’s finest offerings and ensuring an unforgettable experience for all.
