As part of efforts to ensure that all stakeholders in the tourism sector comply with the application of all precautionary and preventive measures to address COVID-19 pandemic, Department of Tourism and Commerce has directed all concerned in hotel establishments and restaurants to temporarily put hold on entertainment activities as of Thursday, January 21, 2021 until further notice.
This is resulting from the observation through field inspection that showed an increase in number of violations during entertainment activities in hotels and restaurants.
During the last 3 weeks, @DubaiTourism have issued more than 200 violations of non compliance with guidelines and closed down around 20 establishments.
