The Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) has partnered with the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.

The campaign, initiated by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), aims to honor fathers in the UAE by establishing a sustainable endowment fund for healthcare support to those in need.

Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du, highlighted that this initiative reflects the UAE’s dedication to global humanitarian efforts, ensuring access to sustainable healthcare for underprivileged communities. He reiterated du’s commitment to social responsibility, particularly through its support for Ramadan initiatives that foster a culture of giving.

As a strategic partner, du will provide technical and logistical support, including raising awareness by changing its network name to Fathersfund-du and sending SMS messages to encourage public participation. Additionally, du has allocated an exclusive set of mobile numbers to be auctioned during the Most Noble Number charity auction on March 15 at the Armani Hotel Dubai, Burj Khalifa. The auction, organized in collaboration with Emirates Auction, will see the participation of prominent businessmen and philanthropists.

The campaign continues to welcome donations through multiple channels, including the official website (Fathersfund.ae), a toll-free hotline (800 4999), bank transfers to Emirates Islamic Bank, SMS donations for Etisalat by e& and du users, the DubaiNow app, and the Jood platform (Jood.ae).

This initiative strengthens the UAE’s standing as a leader in charitable and humanitarian work, fostering values of compassion, solidarity, and filial respect.
