Dubai Aerospace Enterprise has signed an agreement with Royal Air Maroc to lease 13 new Boeing 737-8 aircraft, deepening its partnership with the Moroccan flag carrier and supporting the airline’s long-term fleet expansion plans.

The aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2027. The deal builds on a previous agreement under which DAE leased two Boeing 737-8 aircraft to Royal Air Maroc, both of which were delivered in 2025.

DAE said the agreement reflects confidence in Morocco’s growing role as a regional tourism and business hub, as well as Royal Air Maroc’s expanding network across Africa and beyond. The lessor noted that the new aircraft will play a key role in supporting the airline’s future operational and growth requirements.

Royal Air Maroc described the lease as a strategic step aligned with its ambition to position itself as a leading global connector. The airline said the Boeing 737-8 will enhance its ability to develop new routes, increase flight frequencies, and improve overall operational efficiency.

According to the carrier, the addition of the aircraft will also provide greater flexibility to meet rising passenger demand while strengthening reliable air links between Africa, Europe, and other international markets.

The agreement underscores continued momentum in aircraft leasing activity as airlines invest in modern, fuel-efficient fleets to support network growth and long-term competitiveness.
