Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has reported a sharp rise in profitability for the year ended 31 December 2025, underscoring strong operating performance, fleet expansion, and disciplined balance sheet management.

The aircraft lessor posted a profit of US$702.2 million, up from US$477.5 million in 2024, representing a 47.1 percent increase. The company said the improvement was driven mainly by higher operating profit and insurance recoveries.

Profit before income tax reached US$761.6 million, while total revenue climbed 20.7 percent to US$1.73 billion, compared to US$1.43 billion a year earlier. Growth was supported by higher lease revenues from newly acquired aircraft, including those added through business combinations, as well as increased maintenance income.

Total assets rose to US$16.55 billion at the end of 2025, up from US$13.03 billion in 2024, largely reflecting aircraft acquisitions completed during the year.

Chief Executive Officer Firoz Tarapore described 2025 as another exceptional year for the company. He highlighted the completion of the acquisition of NAC and noted that DAE acquired 280 aircraft and sold 111 during the period.

DAE’s owned and managed fleet expanded by 38 percent to 604 aircraft at year-end. Tarapore said full-year revenues increased 21 percent, while pre-tax profitability grew 43 percent, leading to further improvement in profit margins and return on equity.

Despite the rapid expansion, DAE said its capital adequacy, funding, and liquidity metrics remained strong. During the year, the company raised US$3.9 billion in long-term debt across multiple public and private transactions.

DAE Engineering also delivered record results, with revenue rising 13 percent to US$211 million and profitability increasing 47 percent to US$64 million.
