Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd has signed lease agreements with Hainan Airlines for four Boeing 737-8 aircraft, set for delivery in late 2025 and early 2026.
This collaboration marks a continued partnership between the UAE-based aircraft leasing giant and China’s Hainan Airlines, reinforcing DAE’s role as a key supporter of fleet expansion in the Asian market.
Firoz Tarapore, CEO of DAE, expressed satisfaction over the strengthened alliance with Hainan Airlines.
“This agreement reflects the strong relationship we've developed over the years, and we value their trust in DAE as we remain committed to meeting their evolving fleet needs,"
Tarapore noted. He highlighted that the new, advanced Boeing 737-8 aircraft will support Hainan Airlines' growth, enhancing both their fleet capacity and operational goals.
Yu Chaojie, CEO of Hainan Airlines, underscored the importance of the new aircraft in bolstering the airline’s growth.
“The strategic placement of these new Boeing aircraft into our fleet is an investment in our growth and a testament to the enduring partnership we have built over time,"
he stated. Chaojie emphasized the modern aircraft's impact on cost efficiency, fuel savings, and reduced maintenance expenses—key factors in maintaining competitiveness.
DAE, which owns and manages over 500 aircraft, including 215 Boeing models, continues to expand its fleet to address increasing market demand. This latest agreement signals DAE’s commitment to providing advanced aviation solutions while supporting Hainan Airlines’ fleet modernization and strategic growth.
