Dubai will host the second edition of Dubai AI Week from 6 to 9 April 2026, reinforcing its ambitions to position itself at the forefront of global artificial intelligence development.
Held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the event will convene government leaders, technology companies, policymakers, and AI innovators from around the world to explore the evolving role of artificial intelligence across industries and societies.
Organised by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence and overseen by the Dubai Future Foundation, the four day event will focus on six strategic pillars, including empowering societies, governing the future, accelerating infrastructure, sustaining the planet, expanding knowledge, and reimagining healthcare.
Dubai AI Week aligns with the objectives of the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence and supports the emirate’s broader economic vision under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. The programme will feature major gatherings such as the AI Retreat, Dubai Assembly for AI, Dubai AI Festival, and the Machines Can See Summit, alongside specialised sessions designed to engage industry professionals, developers, and the wider community.
The inaugural edition attracted more than 30,000 participants, hosted over 500 sessions led by 700 speakers, and resulted in more than 30 partnership agreements between government entities, private sector organisations, investors, and startups.
Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, said the initiative was launched to create a global platform connecting AI leaders and decision makers to accelerate innovation and real world applications. He noted that the event provides opportunities for international partners to advance AI’s role in the digital economy while enhancing government performance and quality of life.
Experts at the event will examine AI’s impact on future jobs, education, governance, responsible innovation, and media, while dedicated meetings for Chief AI Officers and developers aim to accelerate adoption of advanced technologies across sectors.
