Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) and the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) have announced two major additions to the inaugural Dubai AI Week, taking place from 21–25 April 2025 under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The new events—the 8th International Conference on Education Quality and the HIMSS Executive Summit 2025—underscore Dubai’s commitment to advancing artificial intelligence through cross-sector collaboration.
Held at the Grand Hyatt Dubai and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs headquarters from April 22–24, the education conference will focus on “Artificial Intelligence Innovations: Future Visions in Empowering Public Institutions and Enhancing Education Quality.” Organised by the General Directorate in collaboration with the Emirates Academy for Identity and Citizenship, it will feature over 200 research papers, strategic agreements, and the launch of an AI Innovation Lab.
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri emphasised the UAE’s commitment to global AI leadership, adding,
“Integrating AI into education is key to equipping future generations and building sustainable knowledge systems.”
On April 23, the HIMSS Executive Summit 2025 will gather health-tech leaders at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. Backed by the Dubai Health Authority and Emirates Health Services, the summit will explore generative AI, genomics, precision medicine, and digital transformation.
Ronan O’Connor, Managing Director of HIMSS EMEA, called it
“an opportunity to understand how AI is redefining healthcare across the Middle East.”
With key events across the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071, Dubai AI Week brings together global experts, government leaders, startups, and students, cementing Dubai’s role as a global AI hub aligned with the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence.
